State League Volleyball

The Victorian Volleyball League is held each Saturday at State Volleyball centre, Dandenong. Games start from 10:30am and run throughout the afternoon. The competition consists of three different divisions of men's and women's teams: Honours (top level), Division 1 & Division 2. There are approximately 48 teams from 13 clubs competing each week. Russian Cup

Many Russian migrants to Australia in the 1950s and 1960s used to play volleyball.  As such their love of the sport continued in Australia originally as social teams, and eventually as higher skilled and competitive players.

Social games

If you fancy yourself as a bit of a volleyball player but don't wish to compete you can always come down for a hit at our local club. Social competitions are held over the summer period and are also used in preparation for State League tournaments.
