We currently have a number of coaches dedicating their time and effort in training our players. If you would like to help out, our club will support your development as a coach / assistant coach.

We can always do with more people helping out and will even find you the right course / program to complete to become an accredited coach. Below is a list of courses offered by Volleyball Victoria.

The club philosophy is,  and always has been,  to help players be the best they can be.  We actively promote and encourage players to attend coaching and refeering courses,  to improve their learning and knowledge.  This way,  the players are as mentally fit, as they are physically fit.  In addition, it sets up the next generation of coaches to help the club & its members grow stronger.

Level 0. The level 0 coaching course is an introductory training program designed to develop fundamental skills in novice players. On completion of the course, participants will be provided with basic handout materials and a Volleyball Victoria certificate of course completion. The cost of the course is $33 per person. Level 1. The level 1 coaching course is an integrated volleyball & beach volleyball course. The course is Australian Sports Commission (ASC) approved and conducted in accordance with the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS). Find out more..

Level 2a. The level 2 principles of coaching course provides introductory information on sport science and is a required component of Level 2 NCAS accreditation for coaches, whilst also being suitable for people with a general interest in learning more about sport science. Find out more..

Level 2b. Upon the successful completion of all of these components, Volleyball Victoria will register you as an NCAS Level 2 Coach with the Volleyball Australia (AVF) and the ASC. A registration card and information pack will then be forwarded directly from the ASC. Find out more..
